Greg Dotson is the Pastor of Community of Believers Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. He was born in Memphis to Joe and Yvonne Dotson. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Memphis and his Master of Christian Studies degree from Union University. He attained his certification as an instructor for the Evangelical Bible Institute, and he is a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. Pastor Dotson has been happily married to Chundra Dotson for 23 years. Together, they have three wonderful children: Chatoria, Greg and Cayla. Pastor Greg accepted his called to the ministry in June of 1998 and served as an associate minister and lay pastor at Cummings Street Missionary Baptist Church (CSMBC) under the leadership of Pastor Gary Faulkner. During his tenure at CSMBC, he served in several ministries including the Deacon Ministry, Male Chorus, Marriage Ministry, Christian Education, New Members’ Ministry, and the Memphis Evangelical Bible Institute. After serving faithfully at CSMBC for 17 years, the Lord led Pastor Dotson to launch Community of Believers in his home on Sunday, January 6, 2008. On February 10, 2008, God allowed the church to begin worshiping in the place that COB now resides.
