Kenya Gray, began her walk with Christ rather early in her life. She was baptized at the age of 7 by the late Dr. Alfred Dewayne Hill, Sr. at her home church, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. From that moment, she recognized that her life would be committed to the Lord. She accepted her call to preach at the age of 17 and was licensed to preach. Since then, she has actively served and operated in ministry, mainly planted in youth ministry, where she strives to teach youth that “You’re never too young to live for Christ” which is the testimony of her life.
Kenya is a graduate of The University of Memphis (U of M) where she received a Bachelor’s in Professional Studies with a concentration in Non- Profit Organization & Administration. She is currently a student at Memphis Theological Seminary seeking a Master’s of Divinity. Last year she was elected by her peers to be the President of the Student Senate and will serve her first term beginning this fall. Outside of being a student, teacher, and minister of the Gospel, Pastor Gray is an entrepreneur providing services in live sound reinforcement, photography, and graphic designing.
Rev. Gray is now a member, and is the Associate Pastor of Ministries at The Place of the Outpouring at Olivet Fellowship, under the tutelage of Dr. Eugene L. Gibson Jr., Senior Pastor.
