Mary G. Patton, Ph. D., is a former teacher, professional school counselor, Christian psychotherapist, and small business owner. She developed and directed a ministry offering hope to survivors of damaged emotions. She is currently a conference/workshop presenter and has been featured in magazines and on radio. Dr. Patton has advanced degrees in psychology and counseling from Ball State University and LaSalle University. She is the author of three books; Emotional Trauma in School: Cause, Effect, Cure, Therapeutic Application of Biblical Principles for Overcoming Emotional Trauma, and Broken Rungs: Yet I Climbed.

Dr. Patton resides in Southaven, Mississippi with her husband of fifty-three years, Elder Norris Patton. She is saved, loves the Lord, serves her local church as a volunteer with several ministries, and writes to fulfill her calling and passion for healing the hurt from emotional trauma.
